More Canes/Hockey News Than You Can Shake A (Hockey) Stick At

And it's all brought to you by Time Warner Cable, and their slow-as-a-tortoise's-rear-end service in bringing cable back after a thunderstorm. Folks, take my word on this: 35 hours without internet is HELL.

The Canes and Vasicek agree to a deal.

The NHL and OLN/Comcast also agree to a deal.

Even the players are having tons of fun keeping track of all the movers and shakers within the League.

Peter Laviolette is named coach of the USA Olympic team.

And last, but certainly not least...

The Canes sign Wes!

Are Canes fans starting to get fed up with their tight ass owner who is more interested in getting revenue sharing money than putting together a winning hockey team. Especially since he is the one who triggered the wage inflation that led to the lockout and subsequent horrid salary cap deal with is offer sheet of thirty four million (30 mil up front) to Sergei Federov?

He could afford to pay Segei 30 mil upfront, but now can't afford to spend to the cap to put a good team on the ice?
