Nothing Screams "Home Sweet Home" Like 'Jobing.Com Arena'

Seriously...yesterday, the Phoenix Coyotes agreed to rename the Glendale Arena that monstrosity (no pun intended, given how Jobing.com will probably get eaten up eventually by a certain bigger resume website outfit). Like they have enough woes already, at least on the ice.

Makes 'RBC Center' sound like a sweet name, eh?

As much as I hate arenas being given faceless corporate names (let's not even get into the Anaheim (Mighty) Ducks' 'Arrowhead Pond' vs. 'Honda Center'), I much rather the arenas be given such monikers than the teams. Remember how three years ago, the Chicago Bears got renamed 'Chicago Bears Football Presented By Bank One'? Say that five times fast...

So far and thankfully, other teams have not followed suit, leading me to hopefully believe that such an advertising idea will go the way that inserting corporate brands into TV show names (Remember the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut/Pepsi-Co Soda Du Jour Dana Carvey Show?) went.
