Regarding this, I really don't have anything better to say than my response over at 850 The Buzz:

While I understand Tverdovsky, I *really* did not want to see JJ traded. Though, I knew it was going to happen...with Jimmy making it clear that he was in a snit about JJ staying in Wolverine-Land and all.

I know we don't know how JJ will pan out in the NHL, but I hope this doesn't come back to bite the Canes in their ever loving rear-ends. Personally, I think it's stupid to be "offended" by someone wanting to stay in college. But hey, I'm not a Stanley Cup winning general manager, so what do I know?
